FAQ

Is it okay if I visit your church?

Absolutely!  You don’t need to be acquainted with a church member, call first or ask for permission.  All are welcome.

Do I have to dress up or wear anything special?

No.  You will find a variety of clothing at Peace, from casual to dressy.  Wear what you like and feel comfortable in.

Will I be expected to put something in the offering plate?

No.  Guests are not expected to give an offering.  Welcoming guests is a part of our ministry.

Can I take Holy Communion?

Yes.  There is no fence around the Lord’s Table here.  We believe that Jesus himself is present in the bread and the wine for our forgiveness.  We also have grape juice and gluten free wafers.

I use a walker/cane/wheelchair; will I be able to get around?

Yes.  There is a very gentle slope up a sidewalk from the parking lot, about one step high.  Once you are inside, there are no barriers.

I am traveling with a big RV, will I be able to find a parking spot?

Yes; we have a large parking lot with one side where you can “pull through.”

I have only been to a few churches before.  What is your church service like?

Mostly we sing songs, listen to the Bible being read, hear a message from the pastor, pray and receive Holy Communion.  There is also a children’s message. A printed bulletin will be given to you when you arrive; it lists what happens during our service so you may easily follow along.
